Certificate revocation bypass via incomplete OCSP validation

Improper input validation in affected Apache Tomcat and Tomcat Native releases allows remote attackers to bypass OCSP certificate revocation. The OpenSSL OCSP integration accepts responses without completing verification or checking whether their status data is fresh. Exposure requires use of an OCSP responder; incomplete validation can leave a revoked certificate accepted, bypassing the intended access decision.
