Authenticated root command execution via unsanitized hostname

OS command injection in Cisco RV130, RV130W, and RV110W router firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The rc binary's start_lltd() function inserts the machine_name value into a hostname-setting shell command without escaping, then passes it to system(). The flaw requires access to change machine_name and affects RV130/RV130W 1.0.3.55 and RV110W 1.2.2.5 and 1.2.2.8.
