Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped term link
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Stored XSS in Vladimir Statsenko Terms descriptions 3.4.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript through a crafted term link. td_terms_ajax.php stores the td_link POST value in t_post_title without sanitization, and td_admin_terms.php renders it with stripcslashes() but no escaping. Exploitation requires Administrator access plus an administrator to open the term list, where the payload runs in that browser session.
