Settings modification via missing nonce verification
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
CSRF in Related Posts Thumbnails Plugin for WordPress 4.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings. The settings form accepts state-changing submissions before verifying a WordPress nonce, so a victim’s authenticated browser treats forged input as intentional. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit or submit attacker-controlled content; public sources do not identify which settings can be changed.
