CVE-2026-24474Network attack vector

JavaScript execution via eval-formatted component ID

Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026

Code injection in Dioxus Components allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted component ID value. The use_animated_open hook interpolates the ID into a quoted document.getElementById argument and passes the formatted script to document::eval. Execution requires a consuming application to accept an attacker-influenced ID and invoke the affected animation path; injected code runs in that application's browser context.
