Arbitrary asset-key reads via raw path fallback
Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026
Information disclosure in Hono before 4.11.7 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary Cloudflare Workers asset keys via crafted paths. The Cloudflare Workers getContentFromKVAsset function uses a user-controlled path itself as the KV lookup key when the asset manifest has no matching entry. Exposure requires a Cloudflare Workers application using serveStatic with user-controllable request paths, and it permits reads only, not writes or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
