Browser script execution via unencoded URL parameters
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Reflected XSS in WSO2 API Manager, API Control Plane, and Identity Server allows remote attackers to run script through crafted URLs. The authentication portal's country-dropdown.jsp and modal.jsp render URL parameters into HTML without context-appropriate encoding. A user must open the crafted URL; script runs in that browser context and can redirect the page, alter its interface, or read browser-accessible data, while httpOnly session cookies remain inaccessible.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.0.0 <6.0.0.263
