Unauthorized access via calculable factory passwords

Use of weak credentials in ELECOM WRC-X1500GS-B and WRC-X1500GSA-B allows physically proximate attackers to calculate initial passwords. The factory credential scheme derives management-interface and Wi-Fi passwords from device system information through an easily reproduced calculation. Exposure requires factory credentials to remain unchanged and system information to be obtainable; calculated passwords grant Wi-Fi or management access.
