Unauthenticated administrative access via hard-coded credentials
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in Micro Research MR-GM5L-S1 and MR-GM5A-L1 before 2.01.04N1_02 allow remote attackers to obtain administrative access. The firmware contains fixed credentials that its network-accessible administrative authentication accepts across affected devices. Network reachability to the management service is sufficient; successful use grants administrative control over device data and configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=firmware versions prior to v2.01.04N1_02

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
