Unauthenticated email header injection via placeholder substitution
Published Mar 28, 2026 · Updated Mar 28, 2026
CRLF injection in Softaculous Pagelayer 2.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary email headers through contact forms. The contact form handler substitutes attacker-controlled field values into mail-template headers and passes the results to email delivery without removing CR or LF characters. The target form must use placeholders in its mail-template headers; no account is required, and injected Bcc or Cc fields can redirect or expand delivery.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
