CVE-2026-24410Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Process crash via unchecked XML child content

Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026

Null pointer dereference in iccDEV before 2.3.1.2 allows remote attackers to crash profile-processing applications via crafted XML. CIccProfileXml::ParseBasic passes a RenderingIntent child node's null content pointer to a string comparison after checking only that the child node exists. A user or application must process the malicious XML; the public reproducer demonstrates a null read and process crash, not code execution.
