Sandboxed code execution via dangling CSS iterator
Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome CSS before 145.0.7632.75 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. The CSSFontFeatureValuesMap iterator keeps a raw pointer to an internal alias map that becomes dangling when script-driven mutation rehashes and frees the map storage. A user must load attacker-controlled HTML; execution remains inside the renderer sandbox unless chained with a separate escape, and Google reports active exploitation.
