Contributor-level stored XSS via unfiltered gallery fields
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WP Chill Gallery PhotoBlocks 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via gallery fields. The save handler accepts custom event JavaScript from users without unfiltered_html, while gallery rendering emits stored event and image metadata without adequate escaping. Contributor-level access and a victim viewing the affected gallery are required, allowing script execution in the victim's WordPress session.
