Authenticated recipe disclosure via unfiltered backend selection
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Recipe Maker 10.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted recipe data. The backend recipe selection returned recipes without filtering each result against the current user's read permission, exposing entries outside that account's authorization. Subscriber-level access is required, and the grounded consequence is disclosure of recipe data rather than modification or service interruption.
