Cleartext key storage in Siemens WinCC Unified PC Runtime V16 through V20 and V21 before Update 2 allows local users to extract sensitive keys. The Certificate Manager stores key material in a file or on disk without sufficient protection; Siemens has not disclosed the filename, format, or failed control. Local host access is required, but no privileges or user interaction are required; the reported consequence is confidentiality loss only.
