Authenticated stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Stored XSS in poporon's Pz-LinkCard 2.5.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through blogcard attributes. The blogcard shortcode accepts attacker-controlled attributes without sufficient input sanitization and later renders them into page output without adequate escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in the browser of any user who opens the injected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
