CVE-2026-24330Network attack vector

Authenticated file read via executable WAR upload

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in wildfly-core allows remote authenticated users with deployer access to read arbitrary server files. The management interface accepts an uploaded WAR containing attacker-authored server code and executes it with the application server process's privileges. WildFly maintainers dispute this as expected deployment behavior; reachability requires deployer credentials and a management interface exposed beyond loopback.
