Stored XSS via unescaped plugin labels
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Stored XSS in CM Custom Reports 1.2.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through plugin labels. The GraphModule report renderer inserts administrator-configured label values into generated output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Administrator-level access is required on a WordPress multisite site or an installation with unfiltered_html disabled; scripts run when an affected page loads.
