Sensitive client configuration disclosure via INFO-level logging
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
Sensitive data exposure in Apache ZooKeeper 3.8.0 through 3.8.5 and 3.9.0 through 3.9.4 allows attackers to read sensitive client values from logs. ZKConfig writes client configuration values into the client's logfile at INFO level instead of excluding or redacting sensitive entries. Exploitation requires sensitive values to be present in client configuration and the emitted log entry to be accessible.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
