CVE-2026-24292

Local privilege escalation via use after free

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

Use after free in Microsoft Windows Connected Devices Platform Service allows local users to elevate privileges through a local operation. Microsoft identifies Cdpsvc as the affected locus but has not published the stale-object lifetime error or operation that dereferences the freed memory.
