CVE-2026-24193

Privilege escalation via out-of-bounds driver write

Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux allows local users to execute code or gain privileges. NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected driver component, the triggering input, or the operation that writes beyond its intended buffer. A local low-privileged account is required, and successful exploitation can also disclose or tamper with data or interrupt the system.
