Deserialization of untrusted data in NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM before 1.2 allows local users to execute code by invoking affected RPC testing. NVIDIA identifies RPC testing as the locus and unsafe deserialization as the wrong operation, but has not disclosed the function, serialization format, or patch diff. Exploitation requires high privileges, local access, and high complexity; successful exploitation also permits service interruption and data disclosure or tampering.
