Local code execution via crafted inference input
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Deserialization of untrusted data in NVIDIA Megatron-LM before 0.15.3 allows local users to execute code during inferencing. NVIDIA identifies a maliciously crafted inference input but does not disclose the affected function, input format, or unsafe deserialization call. The input must reach the inference workflow, and successful execution inherits that process's access to disclose or alter data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
