Code execution via untrusted checkpoint deserialization

Deserialization of untrusted data in NVIDIA Megatron-LM before 0.14.0 allows attackers to execute code by loading a malicious checkpoint. The load_base_checkpoint path parses attacker-supplied checkpoint data without adequate validation before deserialization. Reachability requires an attacker-controlled checkpoint to be loaded, and injected code runs with the current process's privileges.
