Path traversal in Sigstore sigstore framework 1.10.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite files via malicious TUF metadata. The legacy TUF diskCache.Set path joins a cache base with an unescaped metadata target name, letting traversal segments resolve outside the cache. Exploitation requires direct use of the legacy client with disk caching and control of trusted TUF metadata; public Sigstore deployment users are unaffected.
