CVE-2026-24135Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file deletion via unsanitized wiki title

Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026

Path traversal in Gogs 0.13.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with wiki write access to delete server files. The updateWikiPage function passes the old_title form value through path.Join to os.Remove without sanitizing traversal sequences. Repository wiki write access is required, and the appended .md suffix limits direct deletion to paths ending in .md.
