Reflected XSS via unencoded login username
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Reflected XSS in Typemill 2.19.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in the login-page context via a crafted username. On failed authentication, login.twig inserts the submitted username into an HTML attribute without contextual encoding. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled login content, enabling script execution with that page's browser privileges.
