Path traversal in @tinacms/graphql before 2.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to read, create, or delete files via GraphQL mutations. Document and folder mutations join relativePath or newRelativePath to a collection path without confirming that the result stays inside the collection root. CMS editor permissions are required; traversal sequences can expose, move, or delete content outside the collection, while created content remains schema-validated.
