Unauthenticated job control via unprotected API routes
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Missing authentication in Dragonfly Manager before 2.4.1-rc.1 allows remote attackers to read, create, update, or delete jobs. The /api/v1/jobs route group omits both JWT middleware and RBAC checks while binding its CRUD handlers. Access to the Manager API is sufficient; exposed routes reveal job data and permit job tampering or service interruption through deletion or resource exhaustion.
