Memory corruption via mistyped registry values
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Bluetooth HOST allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory through registry processing. The direct-query path accepts registry values with incorrect types and copies their data without verifying that the destination buffer is large enough. Local execution with high privileges is required; Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected registry key, function, or resulting process behavior.
