Local privilege escalation in Complete Access Hub 1.37.0 for macOS allows local users to gain root access through its XPC service. The helper's isValidClient function accepts a leaf certificate whose subject.OU matches 3F5JHDQ8FZ without verifying an Apple-trusted signing chain. A locally executed client signed with a matching self-signed certificate can invoke privileged helper functionality as root.
