CVE-2026-24062Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via unsigned XPC client

Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026

Missing client authentication in Arturia Software Center 2.12.0.3157 allows local users to execute privileged actions on macOS. The InstallHelper privileged XPC service accepts connections without verifying the client's code signature, allowing any process to send FINISHM and UNINSTA commands. Low-privileged local access is sufficient to redirect /Library/Arturia to an attacker-controlled script and run that script as root.
