Path restriction bypass in Anthropic Claude Code before 2.0.74 allows attackers to write arbitrary files outside the working directory. Bash command validation misparses ZSH clobber redirection syntax, allowing a crafted command to evade directory-boundary checks and run without a permission prompt. Exploitation requires ZSH and untrusted content in a Claude Code context; successful use permits writes with the local Claude Code process's filesystem access.
