PDF metadata spoofing via unescaped addMetadata input

XML injection in Parallax jsPDF before 4.1.0 allows remote attackers to alter XMP metadata in generated PDF documents. The addMetadata function writes its first argument into an XMP XML element without escaping markup, so crafted closing tags add attacker-controlled metadata. Exploitation requires an application to pass untrusted input to addMetadata; signed, stored, or downstream-processed PDFs can no longer be trusted.
