CVE-2026-23984Network attack vector

Authenticated database writes via DML misclassification

Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026

Improper input validation in Apache Superset before 6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users with SQLLab access to execute PostgreSQL DML. The SQL statement parser's mutation check classifies specially crafted PostgreSQL statements as read-only instead of recognizing their data-changing operation. Exploitation requires SQLLab access and a PostgreSQL connection marked read-only, and it permits unauthorized INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE operations.
