Authenticated PSK disclosure via host.get
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Improper access control in the host.get API action in Zabbix before 6.0.47, 7.0.28, and 7.4.12 allows remote authenticated users to read a host PSK. The host.get action exposes stored pre-shared key material in API output to callers retrieving host details, returning secret data that should remain hidden or require stronger privilege. Reachability requires valid Zabbix API or Frontend access, but disclosure of a host PSK can support forged agent or proxy authentication and integrity impact in deployments that rely on PSK-based TLS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.0.0 <=6.0.46 changes=[{"at":"6.0.47","status":"unaffected"}]
