Administrator memory disclosure via HttpRequest use-after-free
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Zabbix before 7.0.28 and before 7.4.12 allows remote authenticated users to read process memory via crafted HttpRequest scripts. The script item and JavaScript preprocessing HttpRequest body logic performs a use-after-free read, reaccessing request-body memory after its lifetime ends. Exploitation requires administrator-level access to create or run specially crafted script items or JavaScript preprocessing steps, and the published impact is limited to confidentiality loss.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.27 changes=[{"at":"7.0.28","status":"unaffected"}]
- Affected versionversion=7.4.0 <=7.4.11 changes=[{"at":"7.4.12","status":"unaffected"}]
