Stored XSS via unneutralized monitored item values
Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026
Stored XSS in the Zabbix Frontend 6.0.0 through 6.0.44, 7.0.0 through 7.0.23, and 7.4.0 through 7.4.7 allows attackers to execute JavaScript. The Item history and Plain text widgets render monitored item values as HTML without neutralizing injected script content when HTML display is enabled. Exploitation requires control of a monitored host and a user opening the affected dashboard; script actions run with that user's Zabbix permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.0.0 <=6.0.44 changes=[{"at":"6.0.45","status":"unaffected"}]
