Authenticated blind SQL injection via sortfield
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
SQL injection in affected Zabbix 7.x API releases allows remote authenticated users to read database data through crafted sortfield values. CApiService.php incorporates the untrusted sortfield parameter into SQL SELECT construction without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling blind time-based extraction when results are not returned. A low-privilege Zabbix account with API access is required; extracted session identifiers can enable administrator account compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.21 changes=[{"at":"7.0.22","status":"unaffected"}]
