CVE-2026-23906Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via accepted LDAP anonymous bind

Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026

Authentication bypass in Apache Druid 0.17.0 through 35.x allows remote attackers to access restricted resources with an empty password. The LDAP credentials validator accepts a successful anonymous bind for an existing username as authenticated instead of rejecting the empty password. Exploitation requires druid-basic-security with LDAP authentication and an LDAP server that permits anonymous binds; access inherits the named user's Druid permissions.
