CVE-2026-23877Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated filesystem enumeration via unconstrained folder path

Published Jan 19, 2026 · Updated Jan 19, 2026

Path traversal in Swing Music before 2.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to list arbitrary server filesystem directories. The list_folders() handler converts the supplied folder value to a Path and passes it to os.scandir() without confining it to configured roots. Any non-admin account can enumerate directory names and paths accessible to the server process, but the advisory does not establish file-content access.
