Rate-limit bypass in franklioxygen MyTube before 1.7.71 allows remote attackers to send unlimited API requests by spoofing client IPs. The Express generalLimiter uses a proxy-derived request IP without custom validation, so each attacker-controlled X-Forwarded-For value receives a fresh request quota. No authentication or user interaction is required; rotating the header defeats the 100-request-per-15-minute limit and permits resource-exhaustion floods against API routes.
