Stored XSS in Tips and Tricks HQ Simple Download Monitor 4.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The sdm_download shortcode accepts user-controlled button_text data that utility functions and fancy templates place into anchor text without output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored payload runs in a visitor's browser when a page rendering the crafted shortcode is viewed.
