CVE-2026-23827Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service crash via heap buffer overflow

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in the AOS-8 and AOS-10 network management service allows remote attackers to crash its process via UDP 8444. HPE has not disclosed the parsing routine or malformed field that causes the service to overrun its heap buffer. Unauthenticated access to UDP 8444 is the only disclosed gate, and the published assessment supports a service-process crash rather than data access or modification.
