Unauthenticated process termination via crafted network messages
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Improper input validation in HPE Aruba Networking AOS-10 allows remote attackers to terminate a critical process via crafted network messages. The undisclosed protocol-handling component accepts the messages without sufficient validation, causing the process to exit and interrupting service on affected releases. Network access to the affected service is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported impact is limited to service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.4.0.0 <=10.4.1.10
