Authenticated OS command execution via inconsistent CLI filtering
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
OS command injection in affected HPE Aruba Networking AOS-8 Instant and AOS-10 AP releases allows remote authenticated users to run commands. HPE attributes the flaw to inconsistent CLI input filtering but does not identify the affected command, parser, or unsanitized input path. High-privilege CLI access is required; exploitation escapes the restricted shell and grants arbitrary command execution on the access point.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.4.0.0 <=10.4.1.10
