CVE-2026-23796

Session hijacking via unchanged pre-authentication identifier

Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026

Session fixation in OpenSolution Quick.Cart 6.7 allows attackers to hijack an authenticated session through a preset session ID. The session lifecycle accepts an identifier before login and retains that same value after authentication instead of issuing a fresh identifier. Exploitation requires a victim to authenticate with the attacker-fixed identifier, after which the attacker can access the victim's authenticated session.
