Local privilege escalation in VB-Audio Matrix 1.0.2.2 and earlier and Matrix Coconut 2.0.2.2 and earlier allows local users to gain SYSTEM. The VBMatrix VAIO driver maps a 128-byte non-paged pool allocation as a writable 0x1000-byte user-space page, exposing adjacent kernel objects. An unprivileged local user must open the driver with the required 0x800 flag and invoke IOCTL 0x222060, enabling kernel data disclosure and modification.
