Stored XSS via unsanitized charset rendering
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in GFI HelpDesk before 4.99.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in administrators' browsers. SWIFT_Language::Create() stores the charset POST parameter without HTML sanitization, and View_Language.RenderGrid() renders it without encoding. Administrator privileges are required to create or edit the language; the payload runs when any administrator views the Languages page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
