Stack buffer overflow in Payload Utils in Golioth Firmware SDK before 0.22.0 allows attackers to crash devices via LightDB State. The integer and float helpers copy payload_size bytes into 12- and 32-byte stack arrays after checking the length only with assert(), which release builds omit. Reachability requires a release build and a crafted response from a malicious server or a man-in-the-middle position; the bounded reported consequence is a device crash.
